Carsluith CastleCarsluith Castle is an impressive 16th century L-plan tower house, with 18th century ranges of outhouses that are still in use. The main block is a 15th century keep of three storeys, with a fine first floor hall. Visit pending. 7 miles east is Cardoness Castle.

Carsluith Castle is located south of Creetown, off the A75. 37 miles south-west of Dumfries, on the A75.

The site is owned by Historic Scotland and is open daily, April to September 9:30-6:30pm. October to March 9:30-4:30pm.

Car parking is by the side of the road.
