Camp Ring is a small earthwork motte and bailey fortress. The low motte is surrounded by a wet ditch, with the remains of the rampart and ditch outlining the bailey. 3 miles north is The Mount and 6 miles west is Stokesay Castle.
Camp Ring is located east of Culmington, a public footpath from the farm, passes the site. 25 miles south of Shrewsbury, on the A49-B4368.
The site is visible from the public footpath or the road. Car parking is by the side of the road.
