Culmington
Castle is a small earthwork motte and bailey fortress. The low motte is surrounded
by a wet ditch, with the remains of the rampart and ditch outlining the bailey.
3 miles north is Corfton Castle and 6 miles west
is Stokesay Castle.
Culmington Castle is located east of Culmington, a public footpath passes the site, from the farm. 25 miles south of Shrewsbury on the A49-B4368.
The site is freely accessible in daylight hours. Car parking is by the side of the road.
