Castle is an earth ringwork, with a high rampart and surrounding dry ditch,
the adjoining farm may be on the site of the bailey. 2 miles east is Corfham
Castle and 3 miles south is Culmingham
Castle.
Corfton Castle is located on a ridge above the village, at Hill House Farm. 25 miles south of Shrewsbury on the A49-B4368.
The site is visible from the road. Car parking is by the side of the road.
