Caernarfon Town Wall

The town walls are contemporary with the castle and the complete circuit has survived, if a little short at half a mile. Flanked by seven half-round open-backed bastions, with a round tower at the north-west angle and two twin-towered gateways on the east and west walls. The walls are owned by Cadw and are open daily, 10:00-4:00pm.
