Castle is an interesting stone courtyard fortress, built around a 14th century
keep. Visit pending. 2 miles south-west is Borthwick
Castle.

Crichton Castle is located 2 miles east of Gorebridge, off Colegate Road. 14 miles south-east of Edinburgh, on the A7-A68-B6367.
The site is owned by Historic Scotland and is open daily, April to September 9:30-6:30pm.
There is a car park, with a public footpath to the castle.
