Guthrie Castle Guthrie Castle is a 15th century stone keep and courtyard fortress, founded by Sir David Guthrie. The square three storey keep, has a garret and a small projecting stair-wing supporting a caphouse. The construction a large 18th century house, has internally absorbed the keep. Visit pending. 13 miles west is Glamis Castle.

Guthrie Castle is located in the village centre, off the A932. 18 miles north-east of Dundee, on the A90-A932.

The site is a privately owned hotel, managed by the Peña Family and access is restricted to guests with reservations for an overnight stay or to play golf.
