Muchalls
Castle was originally a 13th century stone tower house, founded by the Frasers.
In the early 17th century, Alexander Burnett of Leys absorbed the tower house,
in the construction of his courtyard castle. Visit pending. 7 miles south-west
is Fetteresso Castle and 11 miles north-west
is Drum Castle.
Muchalls Castle is located west of Muchalls, off the A90. 11 miles south of Aberdeen, on the A90.
The site is visible from the road.
