Fetteresso CastleFetteresso Castle was originally a 14th century stone tower house, founded by the Keith Earls Marischal. In the late 17th century, the Duffs absorbed the tower house in the construction of a mansion, which was then altered and extended over the centuries. After being abandoned in the 20th century, the castle was renovated and restored back into a dwelling houses. Visit pending. 4 miles south-east is Dunnottar Castle and 13 miles north-west is Crathes Castle.

Fetteresso Castle is located west of Kirktown of Fetteresso, off the A90. 17 miles south of Aberdeen, on the A90.

The site is private residences, with no public access and is only visible from the road.

Car parking is by the side of the road.
