Edzell CastleEdzell Castle is a stone 16th century L-plan tower house, of four storeys and a garret, founded by the Lindsays. The large courtyard has a range of buildings and a garden which was created by Sir David Lindsay in 1604. Visit pending.

Edzell Castle is located west of Edzell, off Lethnot Road. 32 miles north-east of Dundee, on the A90-B966.

The site is owned by Historic Scotland and is open daily, April to September 9:30-6:30pm. October to March Saturday to Wednesday 9:30-4:30pm.

There is a car park.
