Low Row Bastle HouseLow Row Bastle House is an interesting 17th century stone two storey fortified farmhouse, this bastle-derivative house has substantial 18th century alterations. Within the strong walls, farmers and reivers found security for their livestock on the ground floor and for their family above. Half a mile south is High Row Bastle House.

Low Row Bastle House is located north of Alston, off the A686. 23 miles north-east of Penrith, on the A686 and local road.

The site is visible from the road.
