Quenington Knights' Gate
SP 148-039 Gloucestershire England
Quenington Knights' Gate is a 15th century stone gatehouse of the Knights Hospitallers' commandery, founded by Agnes de Lacy. The two storey gate-hall has a large vehicular and small pedestrian archway at the front, with a large square-shaped doorway at the rear. The interior passage gives access to doorways, that lead to a smaller two-storey range and a single-storey range. 8 miles west is Cirencester Abbey Gatehouse and 11 miles south-west is Ashton Keynes Castle.
Quenington Knights' Gate is located in the village centre, off Church Road. 25 miles south-east of Gloucester, on the A417-B4425.
The site is visible from the road.
Car parking is by the side of the road.
